How we make money

BuildMyRate (buildmyrate.com) is a free educational website run by DO Media. We are not an insurance company, agency or broker. We do not sell insurance, issue policies, give quotes, or make any decision about your coverage.

How we are paid

When you choose "Request real quotes", you leave our site for a quote request form at savecubauto.com, run by a separate company. We are paid referral fees by that partner. What we are paid may depend on what you do on the partner's site, for example whether you submit its form and whether your request is accepted or sold to the insurers and agents it works with.

About the SaveCub name

Our partner's form is branded SaveCubAuto. DO Media, which runs this site, also runs a separate referral site under the SaveCub name. SaveCubAuto itself, and everything you submit on it, is handled by a separate company, not by DO Media.

What payment does not change

• The estimates on this site. The calculator uses the same data and math whether or not you click through.
• The price an insurer offers you. Insurers set prices from their own rates and your details.
• Our guides. We do not take payment to recommend a company, and we do not rank insurers.

What happens on the partner's form

The partner, and the insurers, agents and marketing companies it works with, set their own terms, decide on quotes and eligibility, and may contact you as described in the consent shown on their form. Read it before you submit. We do not control those companies and are not responsible for what they do.

Prices and savings

Every price on this site is an estimate from public averages and a statistical model. It is not an offer, and we do not promise that you will get a quote, qualify for coverage or pay less than you do now.
